WELCOME TO DOSBARTH DEWI SANT (YEAR 6)
WOW! What a wonderful start to the year we have had! We have begin our inquiry into 'Lights, Camera, Action!' focusing on the question 'How can we expressively and imaginatively create a production? This allows us to look into the concepts of Creativity, Imagination, Roles and Responsibilities! We look forward to writing the Christmas production and create all of the wonderful things that come with it!
Being the eldest children in the school comes with lots of expectations -
'With great power comes great responsibility'
I know you are being the best example to the rest of the school, and enjoy the roles and responsibilities you will have!
We have some wonderful trips coming up, please have a look at the newsletter below to see all of the key dates coming up.
Thank you for all of your hard work so far, and the support from your grown ups! Let's enjoy the next two terms of Year 6!

Our Learning
During this Autumn Term we have focused on Lights, Camera, Action! We have been writing scripts, exploring special effects make up, begun designing sets and backdrops for our production and so much more! Following the half term we will also be creating an entrepreneurial product to sell to our families at our Christmas production! Let's hope we can make a profit!
Help your child prepare for their project
Begin to think about how we can make costumes and create a production that will allow us all to shine in a role that suits us. Prepare to collaborate with peers across Progression Step 3 and if you have the chance, go and watch a production that will give you tips and ideas for our own!
