Our aim at Jenner Park is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach his or her full potential. We look to create an atmosphere within school that allows all children to feel encouraged, respected, and safe and that any matters which arise are dealt with sympathetically.
Our Family Engagement Officer, Ruth Morris, works closely with pupils and families to provide support and to encourage families to play an active part in their child’s education. Ruth is on hand to offer early and appropriate intervention to improve the attainment of those children.
Our Family Engagement Officer also works with specialist agencies which support children’s welfare, such as the School Nurse, Families First, and the Inclusion and Engagement Teams within the Vale of Glamorgan. As well as this we provide the opportunity for parents to participate in courses run by outside agencies such as Cardiff and Vale College.
