Welcome to Reception!
Reception is an exciting and transformative year where your child begins their school journey, building on their nursery experiences while stepping into the world of "big school."
A Year of New Experiences!
Reception is a time of exciting milestones, including: Full Days at School! Children transition from nursery to full school days, developing routines and independence. Eating Lunch in the Dinner Hall! They enjoy meals alongside their friends, fostering social skills and confidence. Playing on the Big Playground! This is a thrilling step, offering opportunities to explore, make friends and develop physical skills.
We also enrich learning with educational trips and special visitors, sparking curiosity and bringing topics to life. From local nature walks to visits from community helpers, these experiences inspire wonder and excitement.
We are here to ensure every child settles in happily and builds a strong foundation for their future learning.
