Meet Our Criw Cymraeg!

 

Our Criw Cymraeg is a passionate group of pupils who promote the use of the Welsh language and celebrate Welsh culture throughout our school community. As ambassadors for all things Welsh, the Criw Cymraeg inspire others to embrace the language in fun and engaging ways.

What Does the Criw Cymraeg Do?
The Criw Cymraeg play a vital role in fostering a love for the Welsh language and traditions, including: Encouraging Welsh in School! Helping their peers practice Welsh phrases and use the language confidently in day-to-day activities around the school. Leading St. David’s Day Celebrations, the Criw Cymraeg take centre stage on this special day, organizing and judging competitions such as poetry, art and singing. They ensure the festivities reflect the pride and joy of Welsh heritage.

 

Through assemblies, classroom activities, and school events the Criw Cymraeg works hard to create a vibrant Welsh ethos within our school. They encouraging everyone to celebrate and cherish the rich heritage of Wales. We are proud of our Criw Cymraeg for their enthusiasm, leadership and commitment to making Welsh language and culture a joyful and integral part of school life!
